It's the most powerful laptop I've ever used and it's the best for video editing and creating content in general. Ou seja, modelo normal suporta 4K 60fps e o modelo Pro suporta 8K 60fps… A entrada Ethernet também muda entre essas versões, sendo de 1 Gigabit no modelo normal, e 10Gigabit no modelo Pro. As outras diferenças ficam na parte interna! É óbvio que o M2 Pro é mais poderoso, pois o próprio Sufixo já explica que é um produto PROfissional… Pra facilitar, as especificações estão aí na tela, e eu quero reiterar que eu tô com a versão mais simples de cada modelo, ok? O normal pode ser configurado com 8, 16 ou 24 GB de memória RAM, enquanto o M2 Pro só pode ser comprado com 16 ou 32 GB. Também vemos diferenças na parte de armazenamento, com o M2 podendo ser configurado com 256, 512 GB, 1 TB ou 2 TB, já o M2 Pro chega no mínimo com 512 GB, mas pode ser configurado também com 1 TB, 2 TB, 4 TB ou insanos 8 TB. Vamos para alguns testes de performance… Eu não gosto muito de benchmark, mas eu sei que muitos de vocês levam em consideração então aqui está: No novo Geekbench 6, o Mac Mini com M2 marcou 2.600 pontos no teste com apenas um núcleo, e 9.670 pontos no teste com todos os seus núcleos. Já Por o M2 Pro fez 2.640 pontos no single-core e outros 14.170 pontos no teste multi-core. A diferença de desempenho é muito grande nesse caso, como dá pra perceber, mas benchmarks as vezes não significa nada! Para testar a parte gráfica, eu rodei um teste no GFX Bench, utilizei uma cena específica, que faz os computadores rodarem em 4K, e vi que o M2 conseguiu registrar 56 quadros por segundo, contra 78 do M2 Pro. Fazendo outros testes, vemos que a exportação de um vídeo muda MUITO de computador pra computador… [mas não tanto assim] Eu peguei um projeto aqui do nosso canal mesmo, com nossas animações, correção de cor, etc… É um projeto em 4K 30fps que tem 9min30s… O Mac Mini M2 completou a exportação em 06m26s, enquanto o M2 Pro completou em 05m43s. Só por esse pequeno teste nós já conseguimos ver que o ganho de performance real do M2 Pro para o M2 normal para um vídeo como esse que você tá assistindo é de cerca de 11%. E ai vc me fala: caramba Matheus, então nem vale a pena gastar TANTO a mais no modelo Pro, né? Na verdade, pra ser justo, vc teria que comparar o MacMini M2 normal com as mesmas especificações do M2 Pro inicial, que são 16GB de RAM e 512GB SSD… Com isso, saímos de uma diferença de 100% pra 30% nos valores… E é aí que você vê, se pro seu trabalho vale a pena gastar 30% a mais por TODAS essas vantagens do modelo Pro… Em resumo, para tarefas do dia a dia e até mesmo de produtividade, como navegação, organização, suite Office etc, o M2 já é uma máquina com performance de sobra… SE o seu trabalho exige mais desempenho, talvez o M2 Pro realmente seja a melhor opção, ou mesmo o MacStudio seja o ideal! But who needs the M2 Pro Mac Mini and why did I chose the base model , with the "doomed" 256GB SSD and only 8GB RAM? Having used the M1 Mac Mini for over a year, I am using my experience to know that for the workflow I will need, the base model will be more than sufficient. Now this time, it seriously was 1 month. But yes, the Mac MIni with M2 Pro is really, really amazing. It's surreal that one is able to get this much computing performance in a machine so compact.
